THIS LOVE

 
 
 
THIS LOVE

I have laid up hope within my heart,
Eternal truth that guards my walk;
From youth I've been taught of this love,
How God's own Son was killed on a cross.
 
Resurrection life how great it is,
To be holy (set apart) to glorify Him;
From my youth I've run from this love,
Now my desire is to follow Jesus.
 
I am way up high on a beam of glory,
Remembering God's redemption story;
From my youth I've heard of this love,
How His grace is much more than enough.
 
Amazing grace how sweet it is,
To be freed forever from my sins;
From youth I've known of this love,
Now His perfect peace is all I want.

This is love! It is not that we loved God but that He loved us. For God sent His Son to pay for our sins with His own blood.
