This is small compilation of poems I've written recently... all of a sudden I wonder if all along the poems that I've written for so many years (over two decades!) are just me crying on the inside;crying over all who are lost in this world without Christ; crying over all the opportunities lost because of sin, crying over the pain of losing someone you love so much. Might the tears of my soul be the ink in my pen? I've always known... well, at least from the first moment I looked into Evee's eyes and found God's heart that life is a gift, love is a gift, and poetry is a gift, all gifts from God. What does James say? Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. Praise the Lord! 
LOVE LIVES ON
(CRY NO MORE)
I've stood on the other side watching
the oceans ebb and tide; as life went
out and back again as my eyes grew
wide in amazement. Standing on the
nearest shore I cried to God, "I must
see more!" He took me up where I
could see... Life really isn't all about
me! I came back down to find myself
suspended again between heaven
and hell. As life continued before my
eyes I grew old and tired and event-
ually died. Now living on the furthest
shore... we dance for joy and cry no
more. Life on earth has come and gone
but in Christ the Lord our love lives on!

They don't always make me cry
The Son of God is still mine
The clouds I thought would never leave
Could not stop the sunshine
After trouble hope proves what is right
Peace everlasting is found in Jesus
The world can't open hearts to true light
Some sadness still lingers
The memory of her smile is still on my mind
But thanks to Jesus I know where my friend is

a stand-Trust the Lord-Question doubt-There is only one way out of the maze you're
in - Believe Jesus paid the full price for sin - Worship Jesus-Live to love- Be focused
on things above-Listen for the wonderful words-Well done good and faithful servant!
